There had been rumors that the body would convert oral Cannabidiol (CBD) into Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol(THC) when the CBD was taken orally. This study shows that In Vivo that doesn’t occur. It is reassuring to many that have concerns of the psychotropic effects of THC especially on the brains of juveniles, but also for purposes of drug testing that this doesn’t occur.
